Baby Wrap Wetsuit FAQ's

The BabyWrap is an original Splash About invention designed to keep babies warm by maintaining their core temperature in the water. It is fully adjustable and fastens securely for a perfect fit every time. Made from soft 2mm neoprene, it opens completely flat, making dressing and changing as easy as possible—an ideal wetsuit for wriggly babies and toddlers.

No, it’s made from soft neoprene material designed to keep little ones warm. The material keeps the core of the body warm, helping little ones regulate their temperature while allowing full freedom of movement for arms and legs. There is no need for a long sleeved suit to be worn under or over the BabyWrap. It will keep your baby warm, even with their arms and legs uncovered.

Yes, the Babywrap is designed to be worn with the Happy Nappy™ or Happy Nappy Duo™ underneath, as it does not provide leak protection on its own. Our BabyWraps are available in prints that match the Happy Nappy™ range.

The Baby Wrap fits a wider size range than standard wetsuits, thanks to adjustable hook-and-loop fastenings that can be tightened or loosened as needed. One size may fit your baby for over a year.

We recommend rinsing the Baby Wrap in cool water and allowing it to dry away from direct sunlight. If heavily soiled, it can be machine washed at 30°C with non-biological detergent, but frequent machine washing may compromise the neoprene's integrity.
