Splash About Influencer/ Content Creator Programme FAQ's 

How many followers do I need to quality to be a Splash About Brand Ambassador?
We ask that you have a minimum of 3,000 followers on Instagram and 1,000 on TikTok to be a Brand Ambassador
 
If I only have a TikTok account, can I apply?
Yes! You can apply to be a TikTok Brand Ambassador, or just a Brand Ambassador on Instagram or you can be a Brand Ambassador for both platforms, as long as you have the required minimum number of followers. 
If you prefer to be a TikTok Brand Ambassador only, you can request samples from Splash About via the TikTok affiliate centre marketplace. 
 
What do I have to do as a Brand Ambassador?
On Instagram we ask that you post a photo, or reel on your grid along with some brief copy of the product you are promoting for us and tag @SplashAboutUK – you’ll be briefed on all products we send you and you’ll have a product information sheet to help if you get stuck!
 
For TikTok we ask that you tag the product you are promoting in a video with link to Splash About’s TikTok shop. We’ll provide you with all the product benefits as you will need to mention these in your video too. 
 
My baby/child can’t swim, can I still be a Brand Ambassador?
Absolutely! We support child at every stage of their swimming journey!
 
Can I choose what designs I promote?
Splash About has a great selection of designs we think you will be spoilt for choice! Some campaigns will be limited to a specific set of designs, but you would always have a choice.
 
What happens if I forget to post?
When you’re alerted about a campaign, we’ll let you know when you’ll need to schedule your post so you can check the campaign works for you.  We know that sometimes emergencies can happen so let us know as soon as you can if you can’t post in the given timeframe.  
 
What products will I be given to promote?
For each campaign we will contact relevant Brand Ambassadors so it’s important to fill in the questionnaire fully. If we are promoting swim nappies for example, we’ll be in touch with Brand Ambassadors with young babies.
 
What if I can’t take part in a campaign?
That’s not a problem, we’ll be in touch when the next relevant opportunity comes up!
 
Can I keep the products I’m promoting?
Yes, ambassadors will be gifted product which they can keep.
 
How much will I be paid for being a Brand Ambassador?
Brand Ambassadors will be gifted product to promote and keep.  
For Instagram Brand Ambassadors there will be an opportunity to make 10% commission from sales of promoted product (excluding VAT & shipping).  
How? Each brand Ambassador will be given a unique code to share with their followers giving them a 10% discount on full priced product. When this code is used at the checkout at www.splashabout.com sales will be tracked to this code and commission will be paid to you monthly in arrears.
TikTok Brand Ambassadors will be paid directly by TikTok for any product bought through shoppable links added to their videos. Commission is 12%.
Currently Splash About does not offer a retainer payment for Brand Ambassadors 
 
I’m going on holiday will I be given any product?
A perk of being a Brand Ambassador means you will be gifted product for a child when you go on holiday (limits apply).
